Aviva and NatWest Group forge five-year partnership for protection insurance products

Aviva, a leading InsurTech provider specialising in life insurance and health-related products, is set to distribute its protection insurance products through NatWest Group, as part of a a five-year partnership with the firm.

Aviva, a leading InsurTech provider specialising in life insurance and health-related products, is set to distribute its protection insurance products through NatWest Group, as part of a a five-year partnership with the firm.

The collaboration aims to offer NatWest’s retail and mortgage customers access to Aviva’s term life insurance, critical illness cover, and guaranteed over-50s life insurance, according to the Coverager.

This partnership seeks to enhance the customer experience by integrating Aviva’s insurance products into NatWest’s digital banking platforms.

Aviva is an InsurTech innovator, known for its advanced underwriting capabilities and commitment to leveraging data science to offer personalised insurance solutions.

It has a strong presence in the UK’s insurance market, particularly in protection and health products.

NatWest Group is a prominent UK-based retail banking leader, operating multiple banking brands, including NatWest, RBS, and Ulster Bank. It is focused on providing comprehensive digital banking solutions to its vast customer base.

Under the agreement, NatWest customers will enjoy a streamlined process to access Aviva’s protection products. Options include purchasing via mobile banking apps, online portals, or phone support.

Additionally, NatWest’s digital mortgage applications will incorporate automated term life insurance quotes, offering a seamless experience.

The deal also brings added value to customers through Aviva’s Digicare+ app, designed to help users detect, manage, and prevent health issues.

This collaboration builds on NatWest’s previous partnership with AIG Life, a company now owned by Aviva. The transition enables NatWest to expand its offerings through Aviva’s market-leading capabilities.
