Joshin, a leading provider of neurodivergent and disability support services, has partnered with Aon to offer employers specialised neurodiversity resources and advanced workforce analytics for improved inclusion and employee wellbeing.

The collaboration is designed to increase awareness among employers about the importance of offering tailored support for neurodivergent employees, caregivers, and people managers.

Employers will also gain access to Aon’s comprehensive reporting tools, which will enable them to assess the effectiveness and return on investment of Joshin’s services.

Additionally, the initiative will offer roundtable discussions where businesses can exchange insights and develop strategies to enhance workplace neurodiversity.

Joshin provides essential support for individuals with disabilities and neurodivergent conditions, covering all aspects of life, from home and work to school and beyond.

As the only employer benefit consolidating fragmented services for this community, Joshin delivers personalised support tailored to each individual’s unique needs.

The company’s approach empowers individuals while also providing valuable insights for organisations looking to enhance their diversity and inclusion efforts.

Joshin’s services cater to a wide range of conditions, supporting over 200 diagnoses. Among its members, 54% identify as disabled or neurodivergent, 39% are caregivers, and 28% are managers seeking coaching and training.

The company’s solutions provide businesses, including those in tech and retail, with a deeper understanding of workforce demographics and previously unreported employee needs.

Research from Birkbeck University of London’s 2024 Neurodiversity in Business and Work Academic Research highlights the challenges faced by neurodivergent workers, who report lower wellbeing, reduced psychological safety, and higher turnover risk compared to their neurotypical colleagues. Joshin is making a significant impact in bridging this gap, with 84% of its members reporting improved mental wellbeing and 68% experiencing enhanced productivity after engaging with Joshin Navigators and Coaches.

Melissa Danielsen, Joshin co-founder and CEO, said, “Joshin was born out of lived experience and built by a team who’ve personally navigated many of the obstacles our members face. We’re proud to collaborate with Aon because they recognise the value of Joshin as a stand-alone, community-driven solution for their diverse network of clients and understand the opportunity to meaningfully impact employee populations and company performance.”

Rebecca Warnken, senior vice president and inclusive benefits leader at Aon, said, “Inclusion and diversity are a priority for our firm. One in 4 people have a disability, 1 in 6 are neurodivergent, and 1 in 6 families have a child with complex health needs – yet few employees are comfortable disclosing a condition to their employer. Employers are recognizing that traditional benefit offerings and workplace policies need to be more inclusive of neurocognitive differences and abilities, and employers that have taken action are reporting improvements in productivity, engagement, and business performance.”
