Bindable, a provider of Insurance-as-a-Service technology solutions, has partnered with WisePal, a cost-saving software company, to launch a new in-house digital insurance agency.
The initiative enables WisePal to offer customers the ability to compare and purchase property and casualty (P&C) insurance products directly through its app and newly established agency team.
The launch is aimed at enhancing its core mission of helping families manage recurring expenses while maintaining strong customer relationships.
By integrating insurance into its offerings, WisePal seeks to provide additional financial benefits to users without disrupting the connections it has built with its customer base.
Bindable offers a flexible virtual agency infrastructure that allows businesses to integrate insurance services into their existing platforms.
The company provides a suite of tools that support seamless market entry for P&C licensed agents, enabling brands to establish their own insurance agencies without the need for significant upfront investments or complex carrier appointments.
WisePal’s new digital insurance agency is powered by Bindable’s Policy Crusher®, an agent-facing customer relationship management tool that includes a comparative rater and cross-sell engine.
Through Bindable’s extensive carrier network, WisePal has created a curated insurance marketplace tailored to its customers’ needs. This approach not only provides a streamlined insurance shopping experience but also establishes a new revenue stream that enhances customer acquisition and retention.
By leveraging Bindable’s technology, WisePal has bypassed the typical challenges of launching an insurance agency, such as securing carrier appointments and managing operational complexities.
The partnership also ensures WisePal can scale its insurance offerings as it grows, accommodating future carrier partnerships and supporting its expanding team of agents.
Ami Shmidman, CEO of WisePal, said, “Our company is keenly focused on helping families effortlessly reduce recurring expenses while fostering meaningful, lasting relationships with them. Offering insurance felt like a natural next step for us, but we were determined to do so without disrupting the strong connections we’ve worked hard to build as a new player in the market. After looking at options, it became clear that Bindable was one of the only technology partners who could holistically support us in jump-starting our entry into insurance by giving us the digital tools, expertise, and market access to be successful under our own brand and using our own agent force.”
Bill Suneson, co-founder & CEO of Bindable, added, “After years of experience partnering with leading insurance carriers, brokers, and trusted brands, we’ve seen the significant value our Insurance-as-a-Service platform provides to organizations who are seeking support in launching in-house insurance programs to their captive audiences. We are incredibly proud to have helped WisePal quickly enter the insurance market in this way and are excited to continue supporting them in their next phase of growth.”
Through this collaboration, WisePal will be able to scale its insurance services, ensuring its customers have access to a wider range of coverage options while continuing to grow its team and strengthen its market presence.
