Wisedocs, an AI-powered claims platform with expert human oversight, has launched two new features designed to enhance the processing of complex medical records and claims documentation.
These new tools, known as WiseChat Q&A and Custom Reports respectively, aim to improve efficiency for insurance carriers, legal professionals, and healthcare providers by making medical data more accessible and actionable.
The introduction addresses a critical need for automation in claims processing.
Historically, professionals in the insurance, legal, and healthcare industries have had to manually handle thousands of documents, leading to inefficiencies and delays.
Wisedocs aims to eliminate this cumbersome process with AI-powered automation that accelerates decision-making and enhances accuracy.
The firm specialises in AI-driven automation for medical claims and records management. Its platform is designed to help insurance carriers, legal firms, and healthcare providers process claims faster and more accurately by leveraging AI while ensuring human oversight for quality assurance.
WiseChat Q&A is an advanced live-chat interface that allows users to query claim case specifics and receive instant, detailed responses.
This feature is built on a robust library of pre-set questions tailored for the insurance, legal, and medical industries. By identifying key information, such as injury details, diagnostic results, or treatment history, WiseChat provides precise answers with linked citations, guiding users to the exact source within claim documents.
Custom Reports allows users to create claim reports tailored to their specific needs. Whether based on business line, jurisdiction, or client preference, the tool offers configurable templates for structured reporting.
With AI-powered automation and human oversight, users can generate polished reports with rich text formatting, improving clarity and efficiency in claims processing.
Both solutions are designed to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve accuracy in claims handling.
By streamlining the review of complex medical records, these tools empower professionals working with disability, liability, and workers’ compensation claims, leading to better claim outcomes and lower operational costs.
Connor Atchison, founder and CEO of Wisedocs, highlighted the significance of these innovations: “Having personally worked in the government, and having manually processed claims, it became clear there was a major pain point and massive inefficiency directly impacting so many people. Highlighting, tabbing, and manually handling hundreds to thousands of various paper documents (claims), it really became clear we were missing something as an industry – automation. This painful process of manually sorting claims was the default and still is in some cases the status quo. When in fact a digital tool that could be dynamic enough to be deployed and used by any claims professional was what was lacking and needed. WiseChat removes this laborious process, allowing users to retrieve specific information from extensive case files in seconds and focus on making objective expert-level decisions, rather than wasting time searching for information.”
Jenna Earnshaw, co-founder and COO of Wisedocs, added: “Our goal was to give people a simple and configurable way to create reports. With Custom Reports, users can create claim reports while referring to the source documents in one robust platform, giving them the tools they need to handle their cases with clarity and confidence.”
Atchison reiterated the company’s broader mission, stating: “At Wisedocs, our goal has always been to make life easier for the people working in insurance, healthcare, and legal fields. These new features are just the next step in that mission.”
