Aurora Insurance, a London-based digital insurance platform, has secured seed funding from QBE Ventures, as it aims to develop cutting-edge solutions within the commercial insurance sector.

QBE Ventures brings substantial industry expertise, and this move is set to drive Aurora’s growth in digital insurance and enhance its technological capabilities, according to InsurTech Insights.

Aurora is known for its focus on digital commercial insurance solutions, leveraging algorithmic trading and artificial intelligence to streamline workflows, improve risk assessment, and drive efficiency.

The platform is designed to support both insurers and brokers with solutions that integrate well into their existing ecosystems, making insurance operations more data-driven and automated.

With the fresh capital, the firm plans to strengthen its algorithmic trading capabilities, expand its product offerings, and establish new commercial distribution partnerships.

This investment will further enhance its capacity to meet the demands of insurers and brokers in the commercial sector, leveraging QBE’s support to foster innovation and create value for partners.

Commenting on the funding, Aurora co-founder and CEO Jan-Vincent highlighted the importance of the “We’re delighted to have the support of QBE Ventures.
