Blink Parametric, a leading provider of real-time travel InsurTech solutions, has launched its FlyEasy travel disruption assistance coverage in collaboration with Zurich Indonesia.
The introduction of FlyEasy coverage stems from the need to simplify and improve travel insurance benefits for customers facing flight disruptions.
The fully digital approach eliminates the traditional claims process, providing instant relief and convenience to travellers.
Blink Parametric specialises in delivering real-time solutions for flight disruption events. By combining parametric technology with automation, the company enables insurers to efficiently handle high-frequency, low-value claims.
This ensures that customers receive immediate assistance and resolution when they need it most.
The FlyEasy product, now integrated into Zurich Indonesia’s Zurich Edge platform, activates coverage benefits as soon as a flight delay of two hours is confirmed. Customers registered on the platform gain access to real-time assistance, including complimentary access to a VIP airport lounge.
If the pass isn’t used on the day of the disruption, it remains valid for six months. This benefit caters to Zurich Indonesia’s executive and premier international travel plan customers on single or multi-trip policies, with no need for claims filing or application processing.
FlyEasy is the second rollout under the Blink Parametric–Zurich framework agreement in 2025. The first, with Singapore-based OTA Klook, was launched in March, and this latest expansion supports Blink Parametric’s growth strategy in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
The solution leverages Zurich Edge, enabling Zurich partners to implement the FlyEasy system swiftly and efficiently.
