Cytora welcomes insurance veteran Clive Buesnel to advisory board

Buesnel joins the company’s advisory board to support its global growth strategy, bringing extensive experience in strategic transformations within the insurance sector.

His previous roles include CEO of Tysers, vice chairman and UK head of insurance at Deloitte, and founding member of Xchanging.

Cytora leverages artificial intelligence to streamline risk management processes for insurers, brokers, and reinsurers. Its technology enables firms to digitise workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and improve risk selection, leading to better outcomes for all stakeholders.

Buesnel joins an impressive roster of leaders on the firm’s advisory board, including Bronek Masojada, chair of SiriusPoint and former Hiscox CEO; Kelly Lyles, board member at Convex and Howden Group; and Emmanuel Clarke, chair of BMS and former PartnerRe CEO. The group also features senior figures like John Bruno of Xerox, Bill Bloom, formerly of The Hartford and Travelers, and Thomas Huerlimann, a board member of Hiscox.

The advisory board appointment follows Cytora’s significant growth period, which includes forming partnerships with major industry players such as Chubb and Arch.

Buesnel’s strategic expertise will play a critical role in accelerating the company’s goals of digitising the insurance industry.
