Tara Hill Insurance Services, a program administrator owned by Ambac Financial Group, Inc., has announced the addition of industry veteran Richard Edsall as senior vice president.
Edsall, who was most recently senior vice president of commercial management liability at Argo Pro, will be responsible for developing an excess & surplus (E&S) portfolio focused on private management liability and miscellaneous professional liability coverages for small to medium-sized risks.
Tara Hill Insurance Services, part of Ambac’s growing distribution division Cirrata Group, specialises in offering a range of insurance products that are distributed exclusively through wholesale brokers. The company’s capacity and claims handling oversight are provided by SiriusPoint.
Edsall will bring extensive experience in the insurance industry into his new role, having previously operated as senior vice president at Argo Pro, managing commercial management liability. His career also includes senior roles at Chubb, where he managed worldwide directors & officers products for financial institutions, and positions at Axcelera Specialty and AIG.
Additionally, Tara Hill has appointed Brian McKeegan as a senior underwriter. McKeegan joins from Berkley Professional Liability, where he spent four years as an underwriter. Prior to his tenure at Berkley Pro, he worked as an attorney at Genova Burns for three years.
